Right I am horseless at the minute and am not in a position to be buying one just yet, So was wondering if there was anyone in Manchester area that had one that I could hack out maybe once a week or something. I am desperate none of my friends have anything big they all have ponies which is no good for me. I am 5ft 11 so need something cobby or tall.
Hopefully someone will have something for me to ride.
I dont mind doing jobs etc.

I do have my stage one and riding and road safety, Had horses for years. And been riding for around 10 years now.

Have you put a wanted advert on the internet and/or in local tack shops? try an ad on preloved/horse hunter etc etc i put a wanted ad on preloved and got lots of responses, i was buying though rather than sharing.

No not put an advert up yet. I was a bit reluctant to do that as you have some people that think its a joke and prank call you.
Although may have to do that. I have people asking around for me but around here everyone seems to have ponies. Even the riding school near has about 15hh as the biggest generally which is not good. But thank you for your suggestions I am sure something will come along.
 
Try not to despair as you say something will come along, if you are worried about prank callers try and stick to the horse shops.
If you can get to Robinsons in Ashton In Makerfield try an advert in there too.

I live in Bury and there are a couple of horse shops and feed merchants which you could put an advert up in.
