I'm looking for a mare called Sharla's Hope, known as Sharla. She was sold around Christmas time 2012/13, to a chap called Garry from the Leeds area. I own the mares foal, but sadly I didn't know she was being sold so didn't get a hair sample to prove the mares back-breeding, although she was thought to be by King of Diamonds out of a TB mare. The foal is exceptionally tall at 18 months and is standing at 16.2hh already, so I want to know where she's come from as she's beginning to show real promise for eventing from what I can see out of the window. I've contacted Sharlas stud book, but the new owner hasn't updated it with his details, so that's a dead end. The lady that sold her is in Northamptonshire & I'm in touch with her, but she's lost his number & is gutted she can't help.
I know Sharla was breed in Ireland and shipped to the UK as a weanling as a potential eventer, but ended up in the "no" camp and was sold to the lady who had her until she was sold to this chap Gary (on a standard British passport agency 'green' book I.e no known lineage). I really am desperate to find him and so her, as at 17, I want to be sure I can get the hair sample before it's too late. Any suggestions you can give or better still if you know where the ginger nut Sharla is, please help, I will be forever grateful. Sincerest thanks :)

Hi,
OMG thank you so much for replying to my post, especially given the post was ages ago! I will call you tomorrow, but I think her previous owner has also been in touch hasn't she?
With enormous thanks x
