This is Horrific, please sign the petition and help get it stopped

I'm sure a lot of people would like to know how graphic this is before opening it.

For people who don't want to see horses with broken legs being chased around and a barbaric way of breaking horses in a Rodeo skip the video and go on to sign.
 
That is absolutely disgusting!!!! i cant believe those things are accepted, and as entertainment!?!? how can cruelty to an animal and watching them suffer amuse people??
these days those things are classed as the norm and its absolutely horrific how theyre allowed to get away with

but yes it really is horrific and part of the prison 'reabilitaion' programme for the prisoners and involves them taking part in a rodeo which i can only imagine is to 'break' these horses???
 
Rodeo is a big part of ranchers life in the USA. I generally don't think this sort of abuse happens on a regular basis, otherwise, it would have been stopped years ago.
All equestrian sports have abuse, heck even show jumping.
Am up for signing but I'm not sure what it will achieve.. The video was disgusting though.
 
Unbelieveable.

I cannot understand how this sort of thing is still allowed to happen? Honestly, does not ONE of those people or people watching think to themselves "hang on a minute, maybe this is a little cruel.."

You can see how distressed the horses are - it's just sickening.

I've signed the petition and have sent it on to friends and family to do the same.

Things is about these petitions, is this is generally the last you hear of it... how do we find out if anything ever comes of it? Not that I hold out much hope.... :(
 
Megan T im not sure, i was sent it by a friend but will have a look at the petition website and see if it says anything on there about following it up?

Its just so shocking, not just on the horses but also the calves getting dragged by the bolting horses its disgustiing. I know rodeo is a big part of the USA but i dont think it is all like this? as far as my very limited knowledge on the sport is i thought that due to it being such a public sport it was well regulated?
 
I signed, but then got an email from the petition saying thanks for signing the petition against wild horse racing.... :confused: but that was a petition i sign about a month ago....
