OMG that's just - well i can hardly find the words - terrible , that lovely mare has brought tears to my eyes , how can we claim to be a nation of animal lovers , is beyond me , when people show the most sickening side of animal cruelty.....pity the chap didn't tell us what will happen to this lovely horse , if anyone out there knows please let us know.

i must say though i found it even more distressing that they made the poor thing hobble across the yard for us to see. maybe its just me, but i'd have rather seen a still, and know that she was PTS in that box, not made to walk around anymore.

there was a subtitle on the film which said she was pts. sad but quite rightly so- there is no way that could have been rectified.

She was put to sleep.

She was PTS. In fact the video was taken as she was being led from the stable to the paddock to be PTS. I believe she was very drugged so not in pain when they moved her; sadly there was nothing anyone could do for feet that bad.

Sorry my mistake , i did just watch the vid again , just showing my dad the clip , and you're right thankfully the poor mare was PTS , glad to see the woman had a pretty hefty fine - although no amount of money in my eyes would be enough for what she has put this lovely horse through!

I can't check out the film from where I am, but from the comments it sounds very much like i have seen it before, if it is the footage I am thinking about, It truly is shocking, cruel, heartbreaking, neglectful, sad, and none of those words even come close to covering it to be honest

This is it, isn't it. No amount of money will make that poor mare better or reduce the suffering and pain she had to endure. The biatch should be locked up and her toenails pulled out!!! Oh, and then made to walk on them.

God, that was truly awful. The poor thing. How anyone could let that happen is totally beyond me. I'm not really over sentimental but that really did make me want to cry. Thank goodness she is no longer suffering.
