Oh my god I cannot believe people are selling this and even more so that people are actually buying it and performing it!!!!

The poor horses, I wouldn't be suprised if they posted DVD on how to perform colic surgery next!

[/ QUOTE ] Yup - I think Oz is a similar situation. We went there for our honeymoon and went riding up in the mountains where the yard owner shod his own horses. It was quite scary - as my OH is a farrier, he was asking him lots of questions about shoeing. He didn't realise that ready made shoes had to be altered to fit the foot - he just nailed them on regardless

. When they went lame he just pulled the shoes and chucked them out in a field to recover - I think about a third were off with lameness at any one time
