This is why you don't mix mares and stallions...

Wow :eek: don't think i'd have a stupid grin on my face if I were them. Also how long did it take for anyone to step in?

Could've been really nasty, looks like the girl that got pulled off the mare got off lightly :mad:

I think they stepped in after she came off, before that they all found it funny. I am supprised she didn't get seriously hurt, looks like the stallion stepped on her after he pulled her off:eek::eek:
Honestly some people are brainless:eek::mad:

Lucky the mare didn't double barrel the stallion and break the rider's leg.

I think I should send that clip to the local County Council Rights of Way department to show exactly WHY riders object to going through fields with a stallion in them.

This kind of thing isn't limited to stallions - years ago my daughter's riggy 14.2 had a serious attempt at mounting my 15.3 (but very well made) mare while we were out. As my daughter was about eleven at the time it was rather an abrupt introduction to the urges!

I saw this vid a while back too, couldn't get over that the girl wasn't more seriously hurt the way that stallion wrapped his legs around her! I was like this >>>:eek: staring at the screen.

I have rode a stallion out with other mares but he was a special case, not your typical stallion at all, in fact his groom didn't even realise he was a stallion until after a couple of weeks! She was young so I refrained from asking her how she didn't notice the 2 huge....

Oh FFS, people manage to stable, exercise and compete stallions and mares together all the time. PF was stabled next to one and opposite another, it was absolutely fine.

I should have named it, this is why you don't mix mares, stallions and gormless riders.
I know most stallions are handled right and in mixed groups, my main point on posting this was the riders stupiditiy, and the fact those on the ground were laughing untill she got knocked off.

Well they are speaking Spanish, but it could be in America somewhere, but the Spanish never seem to wear hats, and all ride stallions..mares seem to be for 'breeding', and I have noticed that riding is a ''male' dominated thing here, so probably the girl didnt ride much....

But I do hope she was ok.... it looked scary..

Ive also got a stallion, and I ride him out with his mum, she puts him right in his place, not that he does anything naughty, but I have been firm but fair with him, going to ride him out with one of the other mares when my daughter comes over this month..
