such a shame the lion cant jump on the keepers and the horse can then beat the keepers with a big stick!!

WHY would anyone even want to see a lion riding a horse? it truly is very beyond me.

I know......people who want to see such things are just sick in the head.

That poor horse........it should kick the face off the man with the stick/whip.......or whatever it is the coward has got in his hand.

It looks as though they have also removed the lions teeth and claws.....so even if that poor animal is ever rescued from their evil hands he will never be able to be released into the wild.

Oh it sounds awful..i take your words for it myjack............like someone else said i dont even want to watch it ,i know that my blood will boil....
 
unfortunately, in a country such as China where human life is so cheap, animals are just disposible commodities.

in a country that, (and bear in mind the Olympic Games are being held here this year) thinks it is ok to leave babies to die just because the parents have broken the "one child" rule, thinks it is ok to boil alive cats and dogs because their skins are easier to remove, thinks it is ok to keep bears in small cages with tubes coming from the stomachs to drain bile for medicine, thinks it is ok to cut off the top of a monkeys skull whilst it's alive and remove it's brain, because it's an aphrodisiac...................................


i could go on.......and on.........and on...........and on..........

Horrid but knew they were like this. Makes me want to cry and I don't really understand why we are supporting them holding the Olympics in Beijing at all. Think maybe we should bombard the BBC with these sort of images when they're trying to do their cheerful commentary to camera! just to bring it home to them mayeb they could not ignore how the rest fo teh world feel about it then!
 
Sick. Reminds me somewhat of a video on youtube where daily half a dozen live donkeys are herded into a Lions/tigers enclosure so that the Public can watch the lions/tigers kill and eat the donkeys. I know it happens in nature but these people get money from the pleasure the public get in viewing this. I guess this (ridden horse)is just a stage further

PS. Can't remember if it is Lions or tigers - sorry.
 
That is just wrong in every way. I hate to think how these animals are 'trained'. China is one barbaric place and all those things, and a lot worse, do go on. I remember watching a documentary once and was physically sick. Unbearable.
