There's a new couple moved next door to my friend up the road....they obviously decided the best way to make friends with their new neighbour was by slagging someone else off to her....

Well, their 'victim' was me....

"psssst, that woman up the road is feeding her horses piles of dead grass "

Be careful of them- they sound just the sort of people to feed your horse nice fresh lawn cuttings ("because it looked SO hungry, poor thing"). The same sort of people as my neighbour who saw my horses playing in the snow (they'd left the warm barn deliberately in order to chase each other about) and said accusingly,"Poor things! They must get SO cold!" This was bad enough but he was out walking his two little dachshunds at the time, and they looked so pi$$ed off; you could see the trail through the snow where their tummies had dragged....they were both boys, too, with very low clearance...

People like this are dangerous and have no sense.
I hope your friend put them right.

There was a lady up at the yard buying one of the YOs puppies a while ago, she said it was cruel that the horses were out in the field when it was raining.

At my last yard we had a field a mile away from the yard, went one morning to find a man emptying grass cuttings into the field, tried to explain to him why he shouldnt do it. He thought he was doing the horses a favour.

Came back that night to find more cuttings and him walking away from the field with a grass box, grrr
