it's been many years since iv'e had the responsibility of deciding when to put rugs on a horse and they have changed quite a bit over the years!
He's a warmblood who has grown a winter coat but obviously it isn't the thickest, he's not clipped and we are down in the Herts area weather wise. I only ride him out for someone but have been given the decision to make and want to wait til the right time as i'm not there every day to chop and change.

Should i have his rug on by now or hold out until the sunny days are fewer??

same situation as me tbh (Except were a little more up north)...

shes not clipped - or will be clipped either... but she has a no fill lightweight on atm... im looking for a very light combo and thats what she will live in until the weather changed (say jan??) for the worst...

she has a winter coat and in light work (shes 4). so if anything id put a no fill sheet on because of the wind (thats my theory :D )
