I disagree actually! It shows his colour without him being completely trimmed. There was a worse picture than this last year of a pony. Think it was a mare.
LOL, this ad has now been highlighted and posted about 3 times at least to my knowledge!! Yes it looks very odd! But apparently it is a common thing to do when selling minatures at this time of year to show the head definition and conformation.
Very common when selling miniture horses.
I believe cruiseline does this to show a potential buyer what the foal looks like (shape of head etc) without all that fur!
Cruiseline shoot me down if thats wrong!!!
I've just learned all about the reasons for this on the other thread (I would be the first to admit I didn't have a clue before) - and now I understand the reasons, I think that the advert WOULD sell the pony to someone in the know. And isn't it better that the pony is sold to someone knowledgeable (or at the very least with a serious interest and prepared to learn more) about miniatures rather than someone simply wanting it as a cute pet?
Naturally there's a reason - it defines the head and neck. It just caught my attention as the thumbnail of the picture looked like the head of one pony stuck on the body of another. Shows what a great winter coat he's grown.
I just wouldn't be seen out walking it, that's all
On another note, when I saw the title - I actually thought you'd be talking about the advert on the left "16.2 chestnut gelding" >>>>> Those 2 jumping pics are just horrendous! To me, they make the horse look like a stag and extremely tight through his back! Hope the seller isn't on here... but the horse looks nice otherwise, just bad pics!
