Oh Lord, is she still on the go? God loves a tryer! It's equineonesie - historically schmwae (sp?) Jessica Clarke so enough said
Bandage. A showing friend did clingfilm and bandages to keep Beau's legs clean for a show (plus lots of talcum powder, he was bone dry when that was done)I've given up on white stockings until April at least. We have orange stockings now.
I'm in a bit of a dilemma though - mine needs his fuzzles (not quite "feathers" - they're more like fluffy ankles - neither one thing nor t'other) clipping off so the mud doesn't stick so badly, but to do that I need to clean them up enough that I don't murder my trimmers. I'm contemplating washing his legs, then popping each one into a duvet cover and gaffa taping just above the knees. Then I can trim them the next day! What can possibly go wrong.*
*joking, don't panic. But I actually don't have any better ideas yet.
Cool nameIts supposed to have a standard neck rug on top as someone above says, it needs to be loose in the neck to allow the horse to stretch down without dragging on the withers or mane. That one does look terribly bulky though as you say. My pony has the Snuggy Hoods version which fits wellView attachment 130631
