i am going to do sme showing and have a horse that is fussy in the mouth and has no room for two bits, due to fat tongue, small mouth, low palate.
Someone suggested the warmblood showing pelham. Has anyone got/ tried one? and what do they think?

Loose ring pelhams are good, easy enough to find a mouthpiece to suit, mine was a straight mouthpiece and certainly didn't cost as much as the one in that link! Much less metal in their mouths and once you have the sliphead on the snaffle ring it gives the appearance of a double anyway.

You could always consider a Rugby pelham if you preferred, gives the same double appearance although a bit 'busy' and not as tidy as a loose ring pelham in my opinion (which doesn't really matter one way or another ;))

A wilkie pelham, never heard of one, see, I learn something new everyday :)

Being a horrible traditionalist I don't like the look of this at all, but hey! If the horse likes it why should it make a difference in the ring really?

It looks like a Tom Thumb with extras to me ;)

I hate anything Wilkie - sorry. I prefer Show Pelhams on my lot as they are all either natives or tb's with delicate mouths and it gives the appearance of a double with the extra leatherwork but does indeed only have the one mouth piece. Very easy to use aswell.
