This time last year!!

First beach ride , grass growing, horses in lightweight rugs, I took carriage out, horse got 7th at Stafford ODE...
Now look at it... We are 2 foot under snow, can't see the beach never mind get there!
Horses either in stable or out with 2 rugs on, and dread to think of YO hay bill!!

Its so depressing been no let up. Miserable horses and miserable owners. Was planning on turning back out next weekend but its not looking good. I refuse to put any more shavings in so my bed is looking grim arggghhhh

Last year's weather was strange though. A heat wave in March (20 deg C)closely followed by snow in April.

I think this years winter has been dreadful, but more 'normal' for winter. Now we just need it to end.

^^^^ exactly i actually think people forget how common snow is at this time of year. I prefer this than a heatwave followed by continual pain.
