My little ginger kitten was missing :(
It was a complete nightmare and our entire lives seemed to revolve around finding him and lots of wild goose chases.
I had so much support from you all which really helped at the time!
He was gone 8 weeks in the end.
The final phone call to say he’d been found was just amazing, I’d totally given up hope. I still looked everyday but out of guilt at the thought of stopping than actually thinking we’d ever see him again.
I bought him Tractive collar, we spent the following 6 months looking for the tractive collar ? (all 3 of the damn things!)
He doesn’t go far now, think he scared himself a bit and I do make him stay in overnight!
He’s made friends with the older stray on the farm and hangs out with her a fair bit!
He rules the roost and regularly puts the dogs in their place (they adore him)
So, bit of a pointless one but his lost advert came up on my FB memories today.

This is the reason I no longer have cats. Way too independent. I do love a ginger though. Hope he behaves himself from now on.

Photos please! I’m so glad your story has a happy ending ?. Many years ago my ginger Moriarty went missing. It was in the days before mobile phones and internet, I put up dozens of posters and leafletted all 3,000 homes in the village. He was never found. I suspect he was stolen, he was the most stunning cat with an amazing white and ginger striped tail, like a raccoon. Broke my heart ☹️.

So glad he's a home-bird now. He sounds like he knows which side his bread is buttered. This time last year my Daisy was still alive, and I miss her so much.

I can imagine. I wasn’t a cat person before but it’s the not knowing that tore me apart. It’s a horrible feeling and I’m very lucky to have got him back.
