Beautiful new stables calls for beautiful new beds.

I’ve tried pretty much everything over the years but can never remember why I switch.

I think I’m set on either thoroughbred shavings or ethos. Anyone got any up to date thoughts/reviews of either?

I hate chopped straw, large flaked shavings, straw pellets, traditional straw, wood pellets on their own.

Must be easy fall through the fork, not dusty and absorbent. Oh, and not require 2-3 bags a week like some people do.

Thanks guys

Ethos is fantastic. And cheaper than shavings. And comes in nice scents.

I do a sawdust base on the worst areas where mine pee. Then put the Ethos on top. I find i get longer out of it. I’m about 1 per week doing it this way. Depending on how you muck out and how tidy your horse is, the bits fall through the shavings fork leaving only poops.

I've tried so many different bedding but always go back to wood pellets down on the the wee bits then hunter shavings or mega spread on top with a very thick bed on concrete.
