Any info on treatment, any experiences anyone.

Think Red has a small one

My mare has them both sides of her hock on both legs. No treatment as far as I know because they're caused by poor hind limb conformation *I think*
Feel free to shoot my down if I'm wrong anybody

No treatment and they shouldn't really cause a problem, just seen as a blemish. They are a swelling of the joint capsule of the hock and as long as there is no heat or pain associated then I am afraid you will just have to live with it. Springy has one too and I was gutted when it appeared

but it doesn't bother her.

My mare has one and have been told she will probabaly end up with one in her other leg as well due to straight hing leg conformation, which i had never noticed until the vet pointed it out. Causes her no problems what so ever and you can't even tell she has it now although the swelling was pretty dramatic when it occured. Think she had anti-inflamatories at the time it occured, but certainly nothing since. Used for hacking and a bit of jumping up to about 3 ft.
