Well we bit the bullet and had a lovely saddle company working hunter made for our boy and now have a T4 synthetic saddle going spare.

I've advertised it locally and in adtrader but have not had a single phone call

I was asking £170ono, this is for a 6 month old very lightly used xxwide with fish am I asking too much? we paid £270 for it. I really don't want to put it on ebay as they seem to be going for peanuts at the mo and don't fancey being doubly raped for their charges plus paypals

Any suggestions as to how much it's worth and where to advertise (ie not expensive!) will be very much appreciated!

I would say half price aswell......... or less.... if people can pick em up on ebay for peanuts then they arent gonna pay £170 for yours.......

If yo have a good new leather WH, for the sake of perhaps 150 pounds, . I'd keep the synthetic for riding out in bad weather , using when best is all cleaned and ready for a show, working in in wet weather, beach rides etc.

eek where were all these bargains around when I bought it! I couldn't find any in decent condition on ebay in that fit, typical

Unfortunately the thorowgood doesn't fit him now (growing youngster), I'm planning on buying a section d in the future so I thought about keeping it just in case but could do with the cash to put towards some stuff for my daughter's college (Riseholme this September) kit.

I sold my Wintec Wide within one day last week to the very first caller (had 5 more after that). I put it in the local freebie newspaper. I got £140 for it along with the gullets. Id never put a saddle on Ebay, they go way to cheap on there.
