The Cob + has shorter panels and slimmer front gussets to mmake the most of the limited fitting space on very fat cobs backs. Also the slimmer front gussets allow excess shoulder fat the slip under neath rather than bash against the saddle.
Basically they are best for really chubby horses with lots of fat rolls, hope that helps
