thorowgood cob

I.m looking for a thorowgood cob 17 1/2 extra wide as a second saddle for just hacking and when it rains to keep my leather one in good nick have used Wintec before but didn't like it what do you guys think of the Thorowgoods do you use them and how do they fit the cobs, thanks.

They are brilliant! I have one for my Welsh D and it fits him really well...never had any problems with it and find it very comfortable (I do endurance)!!! I liked the Wintec I had previously but prefer the Thorowgood as it is slightly straighter cut so allows a bit more room for my horses shoulders during movement. Cannot rate them enough!

I used the Thorowgood cob GP extra-wide for my young Arab when he was first backed and it was super. I've always had Thorowgoods for my horses - the youngster now competes in one of their endurance saddles.
