Still on the hunt for a cheap dressage saddle as a 2nd saddle! I love the look of the thorowgood, what are your thoughts? It looks a bit more deep-seated than the cheaper wintec models :)

I liked my Thorowgood dressage saddle, don't have it now as horse grew out of it width wise. I've only ridden in a Wintec saddle (GP not dressage) on someone else's horse and found it very uncomfortable, mind you it was a few years old.
After all the waffling (sorry) my vote is for the Thorowgood!

I have a T4 Thorowgood dressage saddle for my hard-to-fit mare, and I love it! Would really recommend them - perfect if you are on a limited budget. I find mine very comfortable and it gives me a secure position - considering I am useless at dressage :o :)

Hahah my position is awful, so that sounds good! :P

They sell on ebay for a very tempting price... but I really need to have a saddler out to ride in it first! :(

I have the thorowgood dressage and gp.

I really rate the dressage saddle - it's done wonders for my position and is very secure - I also feel secure enough to hack out in it including fast work.

My friend who has a M2M saddle costing 4 times as much always raves about my T4 dressage.

Really good value for money.
