Thorowgood GP Girth - can it go in the washing machine!??

Just wondering if anyone has one of these which they put in the washing machine? On the website it says simply sponge clean but I think mine might need slightly more intensive treatment!!!

you should have had a girth buckle bag with it when u bought it, I have one and mine goes in the machine but u have to put the buckles in this little bag they provide...probably to stop the buckles clanging in the machine!! x

Ahhh - mine is an ebay job so didn't come with tags and bags!! I might shove it in a shoe bag or something instead - thanks!!

Thick sock or two over the buckles with a elestic band should do the trick

I bought special wash bag off ebay, think was about 6 quid. Its great for all horsey stuff as it keeps your washer hair free! If you are in a rush what about an old pillowcase?

Jane - I have been eyeing-up those bags for ages so I can wash my rugs without all our own clothes looking like a big ginger horse for the following 5 washes!!!
