Thorowgood GP to Thorowgood T4 GP Cob saddles

I have at the moment got a Thorowgood GP which is an 18” based on the T4 but approx. a 6 year old model. I have also acquired an almost new Thorowgood T4 GP cob 18” and I have just ordered the S- bar for this before I try it out on my 6
yo hunter/cobby chap.
Having looked at the Thorowgood T4 GP cob saddle the seat is rather flat for my bum! I knew the seat was flatter with a lower/square cantle in the pictures but looking at the saddle now I feel I may not be very secure in it.
Just looking for some advice really on these T4 GP cob saddles – has anyone had any problems staying in the saddle! Did you dislike the T4 GP Cob saddle.

I have the cob version, I have no problems with it.

Id imagine the flatter seat of the cob saddle may actually be beneficial. I've found that regular TG saddles make me and on doing more research into it feel quite tipped forward and a little off balance. A flatter seat should prevent this problem.

I have a T4 cob thorowgood and absolutely love it. I find it really comfy and could sit in it all day

I have never sat in anything as uncomfy as my T4 cob. The std GP was mildly more comfy but only mildly. My bum has been spoilt for other saddles by my Flexee
