Ok ,i am really frustrated about this! My sons 14.2hh cob is ridden in a kent and masters saddle. It currently has the red wide bar in it which is a tad too narrow. When i made a template of his withers he really needed to go up a size ,which is the orange wide x wide.So off i trotted to local saddlers and purchased an orange Rbar. Now this should have been as straight forward as changing red for orange ...BUT NO,when i compared the two bars they look almost the same size,i mean practically identical. For christ sake, what is the point of advertising changable gullets in different sizes and all beautifully colour coded for dummies if the blooming things are infact NO difference at all.Not a happy bunny as will now have to make the trip to change it on Monday.Surely these bars should be noticebly different or what was the point.Anyone else had this problem?

I have two sets of red and orange TG bars - one older that I bought for my T4. The difference is really minimal, but luckily my chap is between sizes. However I bought a new set for my new saddle the difference is really visible. There are other small differences between the sets as well - some have the old style holes (circular) and some have the new holes which are more oblonglike!

EUGH! Kent and Masters >_< I'm not even going to start mouthing my opinion too loud after two years of them telling me my saddle was fine only to find out the tree was manufactured completely wonky. I very clearly remember a saddler coming to try and sort out my saddle and with him he had multiple gullets of the "same" size (all supposedly med-wide -the blue one i think). Not only were some wider, some narrower. But they had different length arms. Even the saddler couldn't work it out. Its a bit like lucky dip i think :(
