My local saddler lady has suggested that this might be a good solution for my boy and within my current budget.
Has anyone got one and are they comfy?

I have one and yes super comfortable, in fact I prefer the HW model to normal one.

I did a 17-18 miles in mine last Saturday and couldnt tell, no saddle sore...nothing.

I'd recomend the adjustable HW with Fish, great for TB horses that change weight/muscle etc and there lovely and light weight, also you can have them adjusted/re-flocked like any other saddle.

Yes i have the T4 high wither. It was the only saddle i could find to fit my TB who has VERY high withers. Yes i think its comfy and its so easy to clean.

I had a one too for my WB and it was really comfie and light too. Much easier to keep clean than a leather. Only sold it as I sold the horse and new one came with the whole kit.

Thanks all - that sounds really promising!
Once they arrive (she thinks mine needs a wide gullet) are they flockable and adjustable to fit the individual horse, or do you need riser pads etc?

I have one of the old styler non adjustable ones and its fab. If you get a new fangled adjustable one your saddler should fit it to your horse.

We've got 3 x T4 high wither GP saddles!!

TBx Sensitive backed gelding.
KWPN shape fluctuating mare.
7/8TB VERY high withered VERY sensitive skinned gelding.

All three saddles are really comfy for the riders. Haven't had them long and they need adjusting for the first two as they are now in summer condition and were fitted in winter. There is plenty of room for adjustment in all the saddles so believe they are good from that point of view.

Have PM'd you Flicker.
