Thorowgood or Wintec saddles?

Looking for advice on which is the better saddle. We've recently bought a pony and she desperately needs a new saddle. As the pony has been bought mainly for PC activities I'm looking to buy a synthetic this time. She's a connemara x with a good wither but very flat back. I tried a wintec vsd the other day and it was ok but not that great over her back (although vast improvement on the saddle that came with her!). Does anyone have any experience of the Thorowgood Pony Club saddle and if so, do you know if they have the extra girth straps for securing the saddle? Thanks in advance for any advice.

I would recommend the Thorowgood over the Wintec any day. Yes, the Thorowgood Pony Saddle does have the extra 4th girth strap.

I find Thorowgoods incredibly uncomfortable but I love my Wintec. I would personally never buy a Thorowgood.

I have had both. Currently have a Thorowgood adjusted to fit my TB find it more comfy and secure than the wintec.
