Hi everyone,
i have a small confession before i ask a question and i feel so guilty.... so had just groomed before tacking up for my long sunday ride on the beach and noticed 2 small rubs in saddle patch area -not red and sore just slightly bald. got the 2 other people on yard to take a look and we came to the conclusion that her saddle doesnt fit any more. They made me feel really bad for not checking my saddle and i feel horrible as every time i rode it must have been uncomfortable. i admit i was a bit naive as this is the saddle she came with but she came to me under weight and now is lookin fab. any way.... decided best thing to do was buy a new one and have her measured and saddle fitted by local thorowgood agent (i have very little spare money so this is my cheapest option.)

Does any one have any opinions/things i should know before buying one??? i think the going price on ride away website is about £275.

Ended up getting a Thorowgood saddle for mine after endless problems with (good quality! leather saddles - I love it! It is lightweight, easy to handle and clean and it fits my girl super. You also get the little Fish things to adjust if horse is changing shape a lot.
