Thorowgood T4 - fixed gullet?

I have the opportunity to buy a second-hand Thorowgood T4 cob saddle but seller says it doesn't have an interchangeable gullet, only fish. Looking on the T'good webby, it says that ALL the T4's gullets ARE interchangeable so now I'm confused.

As the T4's are relatively recent, I would assume that they CAN be changed, but I don't want to buy this saddle if that's not the case as it will need to be multi-fit. Can anyone enlighten me please?

I'm pretty sure when they first came out they didn't have an inter changeable gullet only Fish, could be it's one of the originals.

As said above when they first came out they ony had FISH for adjustment and did not have an adjustable gullet.

The ones with the adjustable gullets you can pull the covering away underneath where the gullet would be and see it

Yep there are some older style T4s and T6s that have fixed gullets. Only the "3d" models are changeable.

I've come across a few early models that only had fish, rather than changeable gullets.

I think the very oldest had no adjustment, I'm quite sure I remember Fish being introduced, basically a shim system that fractionally narrows the fit.

If you really want one (and they are rather comfy) try eBay, thre are usually some on there. And quite reasonably priced, too.

I got a 3d model on Ebay. The seller had no clue it had a changeable gullet and it was not advertised as such, but there was a photo of the panels from underneath and the screws were clearly visible so I took the risk ... Also worth searching common misspellings of brand names, etc
