I am getting my saddle checked in week and have a feeling I will need to change it. I would like to try a Thorowgood and haveing been on their website and watched the fitting demo where they use the bendy thingy ( can't remember what it's called) to measure the gullet size I was wondering if I can get hold of one to measure my horse??
I live in the Channel islands and we don't have an saddle fitters on Island we get visiting ones but they only tend to sell their own make and generally only have brand new saddles which are usually leather and the last one I bought was £ 750 so don't really want to go down that road again ??
