I'm a bit confused and can't for the life of me figure this out on my own so I come here for help ?
2019 I bought a Thorowgood t8 jump saddle for my thoroughbred. It had a silvery Thorowgood badge.
Yesterday I took home the exact same saddle model from the store to try on my current horse. The Thorowgood badge is now red and in the form of a horse head.
My "old" Thorowgood is still in the stable, bought from me and used for a riding school pony so I took it out to compare them both. There are some subtle differences, like the leather finish and material used for the panels, but all in all it's basically the same saddle.
But here's my question:
Which model is newer? The one with the red horse head or the silvery one? When did it change? Both types exist in our tack stores and the sale's rep didn't know, and it would be fun to know which is the newer make of them two.
