Neckstrap! Also make sure you've got a running martingale, as if you don't have it, you'll probably need it! Stay on the edge if you can and give yourself stopping distance. Be careful not to go too close to anyone when doing the gates in case you get kicked and choose a good lead if you need one. I'd not go up to the front on my first day out but not hang at the back with the stoppers either. Just my personal experience - enjoy yourself!
