Those of you on yards that hold large, open competitions..

How does the booking system for the arena work? Do you have to pay separately to use this facility? Are visiting riders allowed inside the stable block?

I would be interested to know as the yard that I am at currently is in the final stages of building a large arena (we do not have one currently) and I have heard from other liveries that the new arena will be run differently to the usual arrangement that we have been previously used too when we had a smaller arena.

Any replies greatly appreciated, I am very confused as to what will happen

You will probably have to find out from the owners what the plans are, but your stable block should not be open for people to wander around, possibly they may hire an empty stable out for the duration of any shows they hold.
Our local centre lets liveries use the arenas at any time they are not in use for competitions, although they do sometimes use the warm up arena if its not too busy.
