I know of one person who is with E&L and has had no problems.

Umm I know first hand how bad they are so I won't be caught out again...

and hopefully lots of other people will read this and not be caught either

Equine and leisure i think. Well i was with them for about 6 years. Two claims, one for a badly cut hind required almost £400 of vet they paid straight away. Next one almost £3000 for abcess, remedial farrier after pedal rotation, stay in vet, xrays etc. They paid but it took a while and several excuses, lost paperwork etc. Only have my trailer with them now.
 
Entertainment and Leisure. Nothing in the name about equines or nowt related, apart from the entertainment bit I guess! Bit of a clue there in my book.
 
Im with them. Put in a few claims over the years paid up for the first one no problems had a error when his tack was stolen as didnt have the right padlock on tack room so lost all his tack!! The others I cant rember apart from when he went down to RVC for a foot asbcess had all tests done xrays etc bill came to £2305.00 as he had to stay there for a week I did check wheter he be coved for stableing etc and was told yes anyway had to fight for them to pay out for the stabeing
their did pay up just took a whille. Havnt changed as his been with them since I got him.
 
my vet treated my horse for navicular and remedial shoeing, they paid up no problem (about 3k) although needed to be chased a little to keep things moving along.
 
i currently with them ./
the horse i lost a few yrs ago with colic was insured with them
i had to do a bit of chasing up took about 3 months but they did pay out .
so not really got a fault with them ..
