What brand did you go for and how much was it?

Im thinking of getting it for Beau but I would prefer one that is easy to remove, are the mats that clip together any good?

Any recommended suppliers would be great.

We have Fieldguard. It cost around £300 per stable. They are wonderful mats, not cheap - and heavy to move (need two of you) - but totally recommend them.

We have stable comfort mattress ,which are expensive but great. They are rolls if rubber crumb which go down first ,then a cover goes over in one piece and strips go around the outside. It took a morning to fit. We did one 6 years ago and one 2 years ago ,still as good as new but we put 1 stable mat in doorway when horse was on box rest as he stood there pawing continually and I didn't want it damaged.

I've got equimats ( the ones that slot together) and they're absolutely excellent! Not sure how I ever managed without them.
Think it was around £400 for 12x12 stable and delivery.

I have equimats, would reccomend them. They are heavy, but really durable - I've not exactly looked after them, but they're still in excellent condition 5 years on.

Mine are Stable Mats - best investment I ever made

I do have bedding on them too though - megazorb was brill but got too expensive, now use Bliss bedding which smells lovely and is less dusty and more absorbent than shavings, have to say I spent ages looking for the right bedding.

I have equimats for one of my horses- really pleased with them, had them for 4 years, easy to put in stable/take up again and very lightweight. The downside is the cost, but you dont have to use so much bedding!

I have Fieldguard mats too - but think they must be different to AmyMay's as it is easy for me to move and fit them myself. They are the M2 mats which are quite small and interlock. I have had mine for 7 or 8 years now and they are fantastic!

One of mine is on Kraiburg stable mats - great but VERY heavy. The others are all on Equimats - really, really light and great quality.

Went on to ebay, found a firm selling them for £25 each(thick 18mm) They have depots in Luton and Brum, so we collected them. Really pleased with them.

I have Equimats on the floors and Quattro mats on the walls. If I need more in the future I will definitely go to Quattro...brilliant qualaity and very cost effective.

I have Fieldguard stable mats they retail at £550 each stable of a 12x12, they came in small square's so only one person need lift them, they inter lock with each other, they very good/easy to clean.

My horse has the extra thick (supersoft) green mats from Equimat. They were cut to fit his stable and join easily in the middle. They are very light and extremely durable. TBH I have had them in the box for 2 yrs and they are so good I hardly notice they are there. I think they cost around £400 for 12x12 box, (at time of purchase) can't remember exactly.

Mine are both on equimat, I had the old type for a few years then about 18 months ago changed to the new range. I thought equimat was brilliant as it was but the new range is even better.
When I first decided to have rubber matting I wrote to loads of companies and must have received about 20 samples. I narrowed the samples down to a few and then asked questions about them before deciding on equimat.

There service is also amazing and they are so friendly. I wouldn't recommend any other.

Mine are on square ones that push togeather, not sure on price, very heavy and do leek but unless you lift them up not too bad but underneith does need to be aired/dried every 6 months(could do with more regularly but such a hassle). You need 2 very strong people to raise them. I think ours was designed for beside icerinks. It does really speed up mucking out

Bought mine off ebay too. They are 17mm and absoutley fab! They were £25 each from Midlandmats in Nottingham. We went and collevted but he did delivery too and they were really lovely people to deal with.
