Hi, just a quick Q, please can you recco a make of bridle (website?) for a mini-pony? (33incher with quite small head)

Had a quick squizz round & there seem to be a few - but of those, the throatlash seems to be so over-long or pricing is getting a bit rich.
Looking for either in hand or riding bridle (have 3.5 inch bits & plenty of reins & lead reins) in dk brown.

Am furious with myself as had 2! :mad:Both good qual bridles, 1 in hand & 1 riding bridle. Sold one to someone & lent the other out last year to a friend & it seems said 'friend' has 'lost it'

I'm planning on TF going for an outing - whilst she makes do at home currently with bit clipped onto headcollar, I am not going out with her looking a bit like a jumblesale brat :D so have a month to get something for this one-off occasion.

Suggestions please if you will, as am losing the will to live on fleabay & google :(
Even better if someone can loan me one :D

I 'feel your pain' as I have the same problem with getting tack to fit my little un (and she's bigger than yours!!!).
Don't know if helps with you but I have found that my sheltie is pretty broad in the browband and headpiece so it was actually easier and cheaper to get a quality second-hand 'pony' size and then have the throatlatch and cheekpieces shortened.

having the exact same problem!! so far we're just riding in a bridle and bareback pad, as cant get a saddle fitter out anytime soon in the middle of nowhere, and cant find a decent affordable bridle that fits either  these little things cost more than our 'real' horses ;)
AND have a show at the end of the month :(

Cheers for the messages :)

nickib - have looked at Dinky as thats where the grazing muzzle came from, was hoping to not have to spend over £60 inc post for a one-off bridle, but the way am going will prob have to as cannot find anything else :(

odd1, will take a squizz.

Anyone else got a suggestion?
Am really not wanting to buy bridle & then take to saddler for altering (like I used to have to for the std shetties, Welsh A's & Darties in the past) am soooo angry about my mini-bridle not being returned as to replace that complete am looking at over £100 for same finish/size :(
