Are you still grazing it/ turning out?
i have one in the corner of one field that i have fenced off.
I have been using the field next door but its not got much left in it now so they are running round despite hay.
i checked the other field this morning and only found a handful of seeds.
they have lush long grass, a haynet each and are only out for three hrs but i still worry.
its this or no turn out for a while as one will have an accident racing about in the top field.
I cant be the only one with them so wondering what others do?

We have been here 20 yrs, there were ponies on the land before that and I've only heard of the link to EAM this year. We've never had a problem, maybe we've been lucky, although the horses can't actually stand under the sycamores. The sheep can and do eat the keys sometimes. We won't be changing things to allow the horses nearer but I don't think that we will be fencing them further away either. As far as I can tell the keys have all gone now anyway.
