Those that Feed Chop Chop Lite....

What is the consistancy of the chop supposed to be like? I have just bought my first bag, and it appears quite, well i'd say dusty but sure (or rather hope!) its not.

Its the first non-molassis chaff I have used so wonder if its generally more powdery than the chaffs i've used in the past

Have to say I sneeze like mad at the slightest sign of dust and haven't been effected at all so just hoping its how its supposed to be

Obviously the title should read Top Chop Lite

Yes, it's quite different to molassed chaff in that all the little bits don't get stuck together. I use several different unmolassed chaffs and they are all like TopChop Lite, if you imagine cutting up a section of hay into small pieces, it would be like that. I wouldn't say it was exactly powdery, just not all stuck together, if you tip the bag up you could pour it like flour. Hope that helps.

Yes I think the flakey little bits are dried mint? certainly smells like that.
