Those that have used BOTH Liverpool wood pellets and 5* professional

Which is better? Trawling the pellet threads on here and more use Liverpool wood pellets I know, but looking for people who have tried both. Price isn't much different between 15kg LWP premium (no longer do economy) and 5* professional pellets so that isn't a factor.

Will watch this thread with interest as want to swap back to wood pellets But can't decide which. Used LWP in past but never the others.

I've used them both, prefer five star especially with messy mare who churns up bed. For me it lasts longer, is fluffier and looks nicer. There's is an absorbency video on the website or as already said do a test yourself (wish I had when I had some left!)

I've tried both (as well as a few others!) and I find the Five Star Prof stays lighter & the quality better. I found LWP could get a bit dusty. Plus the delivery/customer service is MUCH better

I have just ordered a trial of five star after reading all the reviews on here. Used liverpool wood pellets a few years ago and liked them so be interesting to compare.

Have tried a few different beddings and always go back to shavings but with rising prices and now having 2 to muck out i am looking for cheaper alternative that still gives a nice bed so will report back when recieve my trial.

The 5* is only about £5 more expensive, so if it is better why do so many more people use LWP?

Zoon, the new FS professional hasn't been out long. I think it was launched about Nov time & I suppose it takes a bit of time for any new product to get known.
The old FS economy was Verdo which wasn't as good as LWP but about the same price, hence more users of LWP as at the time it was the best for the price.
