Those who box for hacking - how easy/difficult do you find it?

I have managed to get out with the horse once in some 4 weeks

I am struggling not only to find routes but moreover to find routes that have suitable parking for truck and trailer.

How easy do YOU find it getting out and about in this manner? Eventually I'm sure we'll be in the position for me to be dropped off, but atm because of where I'm hacking, trailer, truck and OH need to come with me.

Any advice would be gladly appreciated too, if there's any going

Go to the www.emagin.org.uk web site as this has routes and parking places on it. The BHS also do booklets for a specific county which show routes and parking places. If you want to go away the BHS also do a book called Bed and Breakfast for Horse and Rider. There is also an on-line version as well.

I have only been on one yard that i had to do this on and to be honest it wasn't too bad but we had good hacking not too far away in the lorry.
Why not have a drive round and if you find some nice hacking see if there is a farm/yard that would let you park there

I hack alot by going in the truck. I have a permit to ride in windsor park and the forestry commision land which has parking and is fun. Do you have horse friends that have better hacking? I often box to friends yards, park there and then hack with them.

Maybe HHO could help you? Make friends with local people to you/good riding and go meet them and park at theres?!!
