In my last post it was recommended for our new St Bernard puppy, so i have a few questions :)

I feed it to my horses in powder form from Charnwood Milling - is this ok for dogs too or do they need the tablet form?

How much should we feed?

What purpose does it serve? Does it help prevent bloat?

Thank you in advance for any replies :)

You do have to be a bit careful with brewers yeast as in quantity it can contribute to bloat, and you and I have big dogs (although yours will be bigger :D ). Diabetic dogs should not have BY as it can interfere with insulin absorbtion.

I give ours a teaspoon every two days, just scattered over their food or mixed into natural live yoghurt. It's great for coat and skin (reducing the incidents of hot spots), and the immune system as it is full of B vitamins, zinc, amino acids and anti oxidents.
