I go throguh about 2/3 bales a week.....he had 6/7 sections last night and still had some left this morning...

mine gets about 6/7 sections a night which usually lasts...if it doesnt he eats his straw but I do try and give him as much as to last till morning..! our bales are very big.....I go through approx 12 a month so call 3 a week....there must be about 12/13 sections per bale....

My horses 14.3hh - 16.2hh, (cobs and warmbloods) eat about 1/2 a bale a night when stabled. So thats 3 1/2 bales a week each
Broodmares get a bit more, plus straw bed
'Fat' pony (11.2hh) gets 1 section of hay a night, plus 2 big slices of barley straw - And wheat straw bed. does the trick for his waistline : )
