Have any of you got your feed yet?? After cursing them last week, I got the call today

only, my dopey stepson took the message and forgot to ask the salient questions, like, where do I pick it up from and also the size of the bags!!

So, for anyone who has picked up their feed, how big are the bags?? I've got to collect 16 (from an as yet mystery location

) and need to figure out whether I need to borrow Dads van!

I pick mine up towards the end of this week, I'm getting 9 sacks and apparently they are 15 kg sacks. They are sending them to the feedstore I requested on the initial phonecall
 
I know!!
9 sacks is apparently a months supply for my 16.2hh, I hope it doesn't send him off his head!
 
LOL, I have a growing 4yo who could do with the extra weight so sounds very suitable for him. He can have a bit of a buck though so am cautious about pumping too much hard feed into him. I'm assured it is fibre based and won't send him into orbit, we shall see ....
 
Mine is being sent to our local feed merchant on Friday. I already use their feeds and love them so hopefully this will be as good!
 
Mine is being sent to a local feed merchant to pick up on Friday, she didn't say anything about how many bags though....I'm a bit worried now sending my mum down there in her v small VW Fox....how many do you think they'll send me for a 4 yo 14.2hh Haflinger who needs to put on weight?
 
There only giving me 6 for my 16.2hh which i thought sounded about right.

Mine gets delivered direct to the yard as there are no feed merchants for miles around here!!
 
I'm still waiting to hear from them ! They called me last week and I missed their call. Called them back and left a message but not heard anything else since.
 
Picking up 18 bags on Saturday for my 2 who are on it from the feed merchant that I normally buy from.

Middle of summer isn't a problem for me, for 1 with suspected old worm damage, and another that has been poorly and looks v poor.
 
who hoo pick mine up on friday too.... missed the call due to the stage 2 exam and then didn't recognise the number so have only just dealt with it this morning!
 
It gets worse....it's actually 18 bags of 15kg bags..... Have got two on the trial. Have to feed one at 4.5kg per day and the other at 4kgs so by my reckoning that's a months supply. I don't think I've ever in my life gone through 18 bags of feed in a month and I have four to feed!!
