Which trimmers/clippers do you use for feathers/legs? OH has said he'll get me some for my birthday coblet doesn't have loads of hair but it needs coming off!
I use my heiniger handy's for everything, they're great and even though they're quite big, I don't have a problem with getting round all those fiddly bits!
i use scissors (new ones on a regular basis!) and a comb - he hates clippers anywhere on his legs, after he had mites withhislast owner- Norah Batty skin underneath too, all folds and really thick. keep his hair short, so we can keep an eye on the confirmation of his legs - he has had tendon problems in past.
Another vote for Heiniger Handy clippers - man enough for the thickest feathers, and hogging too if you need to, and will wizz through coat if you are doing body clipping.
If we're showing, I would then tidy up around the joints with my Lister Libretto clippers, but they would be too light duty to do whole legs, more really trimmers.
Lineryman Harmony battery powered clippers for clipping, legs and hogging ( I don't have electric). They are nice and quiet and do the job but it can take longer than more powerful mains clippers.
