Good Grief, I've never yet seen a horse that reminded me more of my ex-SIL - enormously fat, tangoed and with suicide blonde hair extensions. I always thought she had an ar5e like a horse - I WAS RIGHT! Amazing:eek:

Overweight and overpriced even allowing for excess weight and meat value per kg. This breed was one of the heavy breeds that came into the UK via the not-now-talked-about 'Franch' rescues. I wonder if this horse was indeed one of them?
If so it is quite sad how it has ended up so obese especially if it was indeed a rescue in the first place, would have been kinder for it to have ended up on plates if that is indeed the case.
I have seen overweight horses and indeed my own have carried extra when they should not have done, but even so I can say I have never seen a horse with so much condition.
IMO it is cruel to allow a horse to get so fat especially when it is not such a hard thing to monitor weight.

No you were correct to think it was fat. I have seen one of these close up. It was also overweight after being fed an incorrect diet prior to being 'rescued'. Not as overweight as the one in the advert though and was also an ex broodmare so had a 'belly' because of that. As the horse in the listing is a gelding I am shocked as its belly looks like a mare!
Poor poor horse. Needs to lose a lot of weight judging by the photos but at that price they will struggle to sell. Not sure if you can get these horses as easy as you once could from the continent? But prices were not as expensive as that even allowing for transportation. Ideally they should be boxed although did see one in a trailer which I would not recommend at all, horse did barely fit in!
Shame as it does look a nice horse in the photos when you see through all the excess it is carrying. Not everyone's cup of tea but I do like their colouring, and of course their mane.
