Those with experience of WOW saddle fitters...

Please can you let me know whether it was a good or bad experience?? and what your location is?? ...I am trying to work out whether to call a fitter out, but will stay well clear if I am in a 'dodgy fitter zone'

I know of a really good one, Mark Wilder, husband of the **** event rider mel wilder. He does a few of the top event riders i believe! He is based in Berks but may come to you if you ask

I used Martin(?) from Fox saddlers in Wetherby, he was brill. Stayed nearly 2 hours but I guess in Dorset, he is out of the question for you LOL!

I had Elaine Farant, and she was ace, really knew her stuff and even put my lad at ease (he can be funny with people he doesn't know). would recommend her, but Yorkshire's an awful long way from Dorset!

I had a very dodgy fitter from Dorset (not the one mentioned earlier), he was based near Dorchester and completely ruined my horses' back and had apparently done the same to quite a few others. He mostly deals with Dorset and New Forest area. I did report him to WOW but they were so unhelpful I sold the saddle and had nothing more to do with them. Would definitely not touch them again.
