When you ride do you find that your feet sometimes knocks the top of their legs ?

Wondering if it is just me. Does not happen all the time, plus I have adapted to riding in a way that it does not happen anymore !! e.g. the instructors worst nightmare, toes out !!!!

With my 14.2hh I sometimes have this problem and now ride with my leg too far back *facepalm*. With my 16hh cob this is not an issue, however!! Oddly enough on my 13.2hh very wide cob type I seem to find a stability where nothing moves and nothing knocks on anything ... also saddle related I guess.

Nope....Hairy's width doesn't allow for my legs to reach anywhere near his legs! LOL

My tb lad however, if I ride bareback and put my legs forward too far can XD

I havent had this problem, but I do have this issue where the lower part of my leg doesnt reach the sides so well as my legs are a little too long :(

never happened to me, however i recently had my saddle refitted, it was the correct width but it was out of balance (a lot as her shoulders are really big) and the angle the saddle was at was making me lean back and legs too far forwards (not far enough to touch her leg tho) but now its the right balance i sit normal again :D. It could be your saddle?

Its hard to say without seeing a pic but it sounds like your saddle possibly is not a suitable shape or maybe your horse is a little on the small side for you?

not the saddle as it has happened with 3 saddles, He has a tendency to buck so its prob just me having a foward leg position in preparation

Horse is not too small he is 15.3hh
