Better late than never, here is my introduction.
My name is Katherine. I live in a small country town in Australia with sadly no horse facilities. Will be 24 again (48) in May. Currently own two horses. Kippen who is a 19 year old Highland Pony and Hank who is a 17 year old Thoroughbred. They are living at a full care retirement facility where they receive excellent care and I am sent regular photos. Visiting them is an option too. It makes for a long day though. I leave home at 4.15am and get home at midnight. Miss them every day.
Am a happy hacker with stickability and decent hands. Luckily my handling skills exceed my riding skills. Can be a bit OCD with my horses and was considered bit of a fanatic by fellow agistees (other people at the livery). Am currently plotting my next horse. It will have to wait until I can offer a forever home with the level of care that I deem necessary. Have one grown daughter who isn't interested in horses beyond telling me that the horses shouldn't wear pink and patting them when she has the chance.
