AKA Cambridge snaffle. As above...my logic tells me that they could be useful for a pony with little mouth room and a large tongue in a light pair of hands.....but I have read so much conflicting opinion on them that I haven't bitten the bullet yet, and thought I would open myself up for some more! Any opinions gratefully received!

I bought one for my horse and he didnt like very much, but my hands were a lot harder then. I think i would try it again, i have used it on ponies and they seem to like it

I had one on one of my pony who use to lean quite a bit. She really liked it, she was a welsh cross morgan and had quite a fleshy mouth (if that makes sense). None of my other horses liked it though, they just felt really wooden.

Worked very well on my dressage horse when out hacking as he would lean in the faster work in company with his Sprenger KK. In the magic bit he was a joy to canter.

He was a Danish warmblood with a short but fleshy mouth and a large tongue.

They're dead cheap on ebay so just buy one and find out.

I found they a) don't come big enough for larger horses and b) have stupidly small bit rings which are useless if you're horse has a steering failure.

I had 2: one with small rings and one with normal sized rings like you get on a loose ring snaffle so you can get them!
