So over winter I've lived in waterproof trousers and coat- it's been a godsend, no dust or hay in my wellies and and I've been able to wear anything underneath without getting filthy. In summer I still have to fill hay nets and soak hay- any tips for keeping hay dust off skin and clothes? I seem to be getting more allergic with age and my winter cover up has worked wonders.

I bought a cheap pair of walking trousers from either lidl/aldi last year they are great nice and cool but sit over my short boots so no hay/straw dust etc gets in and they are nearly a soft shell material so nothing really sticks to them

Sports t-shirts (can be nice and cheap from Primark!), hay and dust don’t tend to stick to this type of material.

I tend to go for thin but long sleeve tops in hot weather as I can’t stand all the dust sticking to sun cream on arms!

Just get some cotton overalls. A boiler suit will do it. Not very attractive but effective. Plus if not needed as doing other chores like water you can tie it round your waist and then stick back over your shoulders when needed.
