Thoughts on this boy?

Nice obedient horse with a lovely elevated trot but average canter.

I thought the canter looked a bit stuffy at times and occasionally almost 4-time. When you kicked on for the medium the canter itself was much better.
 
That will be the horse that is being offered as free to a good home and honestly so....so it's not the OP who is riding. Looks like they have found him a home now anyway.

The horse was offered free to a good home?

Definate 4 time canter at times. Would love to see him ridden in a snaffle.

Aah, I did wonder if he would make it on to here... He was free because the owner wanted to get rid ASAP & isn't bothered about money (they're not short of a few bob) & they have found another horse they like. Sadly they are not overly compassionate so as this horse can no longer do the job he was bought for, they suggested he was PTS unless we found him a home quickly. I can confirm that he will be winging his way to a lovely new home very shortly :)
