Thoughts on this horse please?

rather light :-0!!! needs a bit of food lol.

if you are looking at 5 yr olds then i assume you like a project horse, which this one seems to be, so right up your street. looks ok though, not well muscled/wroking correctly but then you shouldn't expect that at 5 anyhow, go try it and report back! x

with out wanting to be rude the photos are not very flattering, Its hard to judge from photos alone, mine dont often look good in pictures but are a lot nicer in the flesh. Price is good though, temprement and personality counts for a lot, there hope i didnt offend.

As with the rest of the posts - conformationally he is no pretty picture - however, that isn't ALWAYS the absolute be all and end all depending on what you want to do with him - he is far to shallow in the body for my liking and very straight in his hind leh - BUT again depends what you want - he will also look a completely different picture with some more condition and also muscle tone - but for this you are looking 6 months or more down the road to see vast improvements. Worth a look and the price is right

Doesn't give you much info....breed family history etc....

he is very light and needs some burgers I think, but worth a try.

The rider looks like she's sitting really lightly in the first picture so I would enquire how much work he's done since being turned away (assuming he has been turned away). If it's a project you want then give them a call. I don't like his weight but that can be changed.

It's odd that they say he's jumping but no jumping pictures - maybe ask for some? I'd also be inclined to ask if he can be caught from field, loads, good with farrier etc.

It looks like he's wearing a grackle and martingale in the pictures so I'd bear that in mind. Can't tell if it's definately a grackle as the picture isn't that clear on my laptop.

Actually (looking again) OP, sorry - but I'm not sure there is really anything to like about this little horse.

He looks like an enormous disher from the first photo - very poor forelimb comformation - and week behind, with straightness through the hocks.

I think your money could be better spent elsewhere......:o

he needs some sunday dinners!!! I started out with an ugly gangly skinny ewe necked hat rack of a rearer schooling for someone.
plenty bait and correct schooling, he is now away doing BE. I dont think you can judge from pics tbh. depends what you like.
if you try him let us know!! X
